About the Role

Raycon is looking to bolster our team with an innovative and passionate Creative Director. You’ll be the leading voice for elevating Raycon’s brand as we continue to expand around the world. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to grow with a quickly growing and successful startup brand.

The ideal candidate is a creative person at heart, but isn’t afraid to dig into market data, messaging performance, and other metrics to understand how the creative is resonating. It will be a critical role to the continued growth of Raycon.

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, and will require you to be on-site at our New York office for 3-4x days a week. At Raycon, we look for you to hit the ground running from day one. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Elevate and refine the Raycon brand by setting creative direction and developing messaging strategies
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the marketing team to successfully execute the merchandising calendar
  • Shoot and direct videos for a variety of channels, including social media, website, television, and more
  • Oversee a team of five creative members spanning from web design to packaging development
  • Ideate ideas and provide execution of production of advertisements for social media, television, influencer campaigns, and more
  • Review and analyze performance of content
  • Help set our organic social media strategy and project manage the delivery of assets and messaging
  • Create an organized process for creative creation and reviews of creative performance

 

What You Can Do

  • College degree, Masters being a bonus, in a creative field such as graphic design, advertising, marketing, etc
  • At least 4 years of experience setting creative direction for a consumer facing brand, ideally one that is in tech, music, or entertainment categories
  • Experience with a variety of creative platforms such as Photoshop, Sketch, Adobe Premiere, etc
  • Direct experience in shooting photos and videos on a wide variety of devices. Familiarity with RED camera devices is a plus.
  • Experience with copywriting for a consumer facing brand
  • Comfortable with using Excel
