Influencer Manager

New York, NY
Full Time
Mid Level

Role: Influencer Manager

Mission: We're on a mission to make Raycon the most loved electronics brand in the world, where every product feels joyful, effortless, and personal. Creators are one of our biggest growth levers, and right now no single owner runs it like a business. We're hiring an Influencer Manager to drive the influencer program: the spend, the team, and the agency relationships that make it scale.

Growth: Profitable growth with 5M+ customers and international expansion underway.

Location: Remote

Compensation: Competitive base + discretionary bonus

Team: Reports to the VP of Marketing. Drives the influencer and merchandising team and owns our agency relationships across Partnership Ads, TikTok Shop, podcast, and radio. Partners closely with Paid Media, Creative, Product/Ecommerce, and Finance.

Why Now: Creator content now drives a meaningful share of Raycon's revenue, but ownership hasn't kept pace with the program's growth. Influencer strategy, merchandising, and cross-channel creator execution are currently split across interim coverage. This role exists to give the function one real owner: someone who turns a fast-moving, multi-channel creator program into a system with a real P&L, a real team, and a real growth plan. Prove that, and you're ready for more scope.

You'd Be a Fit If You Have:

  • 4+ years in digital marketing, including 2+ years leading influencer or creator performance marketing, with strong preference for DTC eCommerce experience
  • Working knowledge of the influencer landscape across YouTube, podcast, radio, TikTok Shop, and Instagram
  • Experience negotiating partnership terms and working inside influencer marketing platforms
  • A track record of managing a team (direct reports, agency partners, or both) and holding them to revenue targets
  • Excel fluency and a track record of turning campaign data into decisions that move ROAS, conversion rate, and AOV
  • A highly organized operator who prioritizes, multitasks, and communicates proactively without needing direction
  • A resourceful problem solver who stays level-headed under ambiguity and takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
  • Genuine curiosity and a growth mindset: open to feedback, mentorship, and doing things differently as the program scales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencer Program Ownership: Own the influencer program end to end: strategy, execution, and results, across YouTube, podcast, radio, TikTok Shop, and Instagram, in-house and agency
  • Team & Agency Leadership: Manage the influencer team and our agency relationships, setting priorities and holding both to the same revenue targets
  • Merchandising Strategy: Own product merchandising strategy: what gets seeded, gifted, or merchandised, to which creators and channels, and why
  • Partnership Development: Source, develop, and pitch new creator partnerships, and support broader influencer sourcing across tiers
  • Performance Optimization: Track influencer-attributed revenue, ROAS, conversion rate, and AOV on a daily, weekly, and monthly cadence, and optimize campaigns against growth and ROI goals
  • Operational Process: Streamline the operational backbone of the program (sample shipping, creator correspondence, and follow-up) so it runs as a system, not a series of one-offs
  • Channel Expansion: Identify and evaluate new channel and platform opportunities to reach target customers, expand reach, and stay ahead of creator trends
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the broader influencer strategy and roadmap, and bring commercial judgment to decisions beyond the channel itself

What Success Looks Like:

  • Influencer revenue targets hit for four consecutive quarters
  • A scalable creator program built on systems, not heroics: one that runs without you in the room
  • Conversion rate and AOV trending up, with a clear line from creator activity to the result
  • An active creator pipeline that's signed and producing, not just signed
  • Demonstrated commercial judgment beyond influencer: proof you're ready for broader scope

Why Work at Raycon:

  • Impact: Your program is a direct revenue line, not a marketing nice-to-have
  • Autonomy: Own the strategy, the team, and the agency relationships from day one
  • Team: Grounded, ambitious, and kind coworkers who get sh*t done

Company Values:

  • Customer First
  • Think Big
  • Raise the Bar Every Day
  • GSD: Get Sh*t Done

Perks and Benefits:

  • 50% team discount on all Raycon products
  • $1,500 annual L&D stipend (conferences, certifications, seminars)
  • $200 StubHub gift card for cultural events
  • Team building budget (dinners, happy hours, employee appreciation)
  • Monthly team lunch + snack/soft drink budget
  • March Madness bracket

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Call: Intro with our hiring manager on prior experience, aligning on vision, values, and impact
  2. Case Study: Designed to show how you think about creators as a revenue channel
  3. Leadership Chat: A conversation with a senior team leader to align on expectations and growth
  4. Final On-site Round: Visit the office and meet the team
